Bakura watch as he dodged his spells effect. Even more, he remove his only monster in the grave and cleared his whole field, aside the card that helped Yugi. He didn't think his plan through. 'You should know Yugi always used Dark Attribute monsters!! You set yourself up for failure! Whatever...Yugi has new additions...Time to find a way to counter some of these cards.'
Bakura sighed softly. "Good show, Yugi!! You are better than ever!!" He smiled softly at his old friend. He took his 2500 points of damage, the blast blowing back his hair. His Life Point reached 850. He drew what could and probably would be his final card. He sighed softly. "Well, you got me again, old pal. All I do is set a trap and activate Chain Energy. Hopefully I can at least get your Life Points a tad down. Your move." He laughed at his last comment before ending the turn.

Yugi felt a pang of guilt in his heart for his friend..he always hated winning against a friend like Bakura or Joey...but what kept him going was that it was all in the fun. If it wasn't for the fun in the game then he most likely would have never took it up in the first place.
He knew better though, than to charge headfirst into a trap that was waiting to be activated. Drawing his next card he looked to Bakura with a smile "Your doing pretty well too Bakura! You almost had me with that Destiny Board. I lay a trap card face down, and attack with Vampire Lady." He had a feeling that the trap laid by Bakura would spring into action and stop him, that was why he only attacked with one monster. All that was left now was to wait and see what laid in store, if anything.

Jou watched the duel eagerly, such new and different cards in yug's deck! he'd have to remember should he ever duel him, but he was wondering...so many new additions of dark types..what cards had he gotten rid of? And Bakura...he hadn't really changed his deck much..was he holding onto a past? maybe the techniques of the spirit?
He calls out "hey doesn't matter who wins! I'll buy lunch!" he grins at them both, it was looking like a very short duel, just one more blow and bakura would be finished. He wondered though what that trap was..

Bakura smiled at Yugi. "Well played, Yugi! But remember, since you played a card from your hand, you lose 500 Life Points. However, my Trap card is Call of the Haunted. I'll go down with a fight by bring back my The Portrait's Secret in attack mode...but..." His monster gets destroyed anyways. He watched his Life Points reach 0.
He smiled at him as the images faded. "Good show, Yugi! You got me good there. And I like you new cards! Too bad i never got to play some of my new ones." He smiled softly, reaching out a hand for a shake.

Yugi took the hand with a soft smile and shook it. "I can't wait to see the other new ones you have! I still have a few others too but I think my deck still needs some work." He takes a moment before asking "Is anything new with you Bakura? It feels like it's been forever since we hung out or did anything." He turns back to look at Joey and beams with happiness "As for lunch...it sounds great! But you don't have to pay for me..."

Jou waves his hand "what's the point of having some extra money when you can't treat your friends sometimes!" he chuckles and motions for them to walk with him "come on, you guys pick, but I'd like to know what's been new with you too Bakura. you..started at the museum right?"

Bakura looked back at Joey. "Joey...umm..Jou...That's unnecessary. I can pay myself if you wish." He smiled at Joey. Then he turned to Yugi. "Nothing new, you guys. Just working at the Museum...There was renovations this week, so were closed. I'm off for now and I realized I should see you guys. Oh yes, Jou, I did start at the museum, but now I'm curator! Hmm..anything else...oh yes! I meet a pretty girl and we've been dating for a few days!" He beamed with happiness.

Jou stares at the white haired man "you have a girlfriend?!" he asks, surprise in his voice. his shock is promptly replaced with a grin as he moves and claps the other on the back "well congrats to you Bakura! how about that! a girlfriend!" he chuckles and musses up the others hair "what's her name huh? what's she do? she got a sister or something for yuugi there?" he chuckles and winks over to his best friend.
"Yug, Bakura's showing us up, we gotta get ourselves someone too."

Yugi blinked before hugging his white-haired friend with a smile. "Bakura that's great news!!" He then looked to Jou with a forced smile. "I...don't really need a girlfriend Joey." Turning back to Bakura he tilts his head after letting his friend go. "But yeah. What is her name??"

Bakura smiled at Joey, stratching his head and blushing a bit while chuckling. All the while, he got hugged by his friend. "Well, thank you all. Her name is Awne Tigra. She's quite fancisnating and I'm not sure if she has a sister, or any other sibilings at that." He laughed softly. He felt embrassed, yet he didn't care. "What about you all? How are your lives?"

Jou didn't bristle that time, only looked uncomfortable "I didn't mean..." he started but then the white haired one had gotten to talking again. He sighed and chuckled at the male "Awne huh, have to tell us all about her." He moves to the pair, wrapping an arm around both their shoulders "After all, we have to approve!" he grins and laughs.
"Hotel's been doing me good, got enough for a good place, can do what i like and I love my job." He grins "plus I get to sneak out to see you two." He nods to yuugi then "Shops been doin well ne yuugi-kun?"

Bakura smiled and stratched the back of his head in embrassment. "Well, one day, I'll bring her along so you guys can meet each other." He smiled at back at his friends. He really did miss them. Afterall, he grew up with them, espically during the whole Pharoah deal and world-in-danger deal.
'Bakura! Why do you insist to stay here, we have work to do, fool!'

Yugi blinked at the two before saying happily "Of course we need to see and meet her...I cant wait!" he then looks to Juo and nods "Yeah it's been going alright, some days are longer than others...But I manage to make the most of it. Money is coming in regular...no worse or better than before so I can at least be thankful for that." He gives the blonde a playful nudge in the side before turning once more to Ryou but says to both "I have my eye on someone...maybe soon or one day I will be able to work up the courage to tell them." he says with an embarrassed smile as he rubs the back of his head.

Jou blinked at the two, then rubbed the smallests back with a grin "what do you know...Yuug's going to get himself someone." He sighs wistfully, hands moving to his pockets "ah, at this rate I'ma be the only one alone out of our small group." He grins at the two "i'd tell my crush but..somehow I think I'd end up with a black eye." he grins as was his way to just make jokes out of everything.
"So who is it Yuug? Ryou told us his new girlfriend..your turn."
