History:Back when his life started to change, Yugi Muto lived in his Grandfather's card shop with his parents. His grandfather, after returning from one of his trips, brought back with him a gift for Yugi. It was a puzzle that unbeknownst to anyone housed the ancient spirit of the Pharaoh Atem. Yugi ended up solving the puzzle and formed a bond with the spirit inside.
His first actual challenge would be when his Grandfather's soul was stolen by Maximilian Pegasus. Yugi would have to brave the Duelist Kingdom to get back the old man's soul but would also have to not only win against the other duelists...but also face traps laid down by numerous opponents. Seto Kaiba was one of the most devious of these. When yugi had almost won a duel against him for entry into Pegasus' castle, Kaiba put himself in danger so that if Yugi attacked and won, Kaiba would plunge to his death almost certainly. Even with this plan and a defeat at the hands of his rival, Yugi still managed to win back Solomon's soul from the hands of the fabled Pegasus.
After countless other tournaments and close calls with would-be conquerors of the world, Yugi spends time in the shop that was passed to him when his Grandfather grew unable to run it due to his old age. Yugi now also helps take care of him once a week by bringing him groceries as well as driving him to any Doctor appointments he might have. Life is certainly good for the grown up King of Games...though he still has touches of childhood that poke through now and then.

Sulfur and brimstone were everywhere, though there were none of the demons that had skinned her alive to be seen…she wouldn’t even feel their presence. What lay before them was a vast wasteland full of red rock and ground, devoid of plants and those that –were- plants…were only charred husks. “Not so bad…right?” Awne whimpered, pressing into his side, gripping his hand in hers as she tries to hide. She couldn’t feel them…she couldn’t sense them..it wasn’t the same area…but she was terrified. “I….g..g…guess not..” she mumbles, trying to be nice, she couldn’t think of anything outside the fear and the thought that any moment someone would pop out and try and take her.[/u]
